Magnificent French Beaux Arts Sporting Plaque with Heron and Horn
A sensational example of Beaux Arts Sporting Art, this large French plaster plaque is adorned with a spread-winged crane, leather belt with buckle, horn, leaves and mushrooms. It has an old repair to the right side that is nearly invisible and is missing a small chunk at the upper right-hand corner which could be overpainted quite easily. If you are not keen on the brown and green paint, we can repaint it for you to your specifications and think it would be most stunning in a pale grey or white.. Please note that this piece needs to stay indoors or under a covered porch, as plaster "melts" over time when exposed to rain.
