Merrow Associates Rosewood and Chromium-Plated Dining Table
We've never understood why the English Mid-Century Modernists are so under-represented in the U.S., especially when their work ticks all our boxes. This Merrow Associates table was designed by Richard Young in the 1960s and is absolutely stunning. From the outstanding figured rosewood veneer to the heavy chromium-plated steel legs, this piece has it all, and makes a powerful statement. Recently polished and cleaned, it is in very good overall condition with a couple of small and barely noticeable shallow scratches, and a small area of slight bubbling to the veneer, but comes with a protective glass top to preserve the rosewood. The table actually seats 6 comfortably, but 2 people have to straddle a leg.
