Occasionally we find nicely patinated chimney toppers in France and this is an unusual one because it has an incised heart. In very good condition with weathering and some lichen, it has a few minor chips. Place a pillar candle on a saucer inside and voila!, a beautiful and unusual lighting accent for your table, inside or out.
Pair of French 19th C Estate-Sized Copper Wall Sconce Lanterns with Pewter Finish
These exceptional, estate-sized pewter-finished copper lanterns came from a private house in the Hudson Valley and have been rewired and restored to perfection. At a little over 4 feet high, they would make a grand statement on either side of your double front doors. Rewired for outdoor use. Please note that one side pane is broken.
This elegant hexagonal brass lantern is embossed throughout and features wonderful detailing. The round handblown bottom glass is rimmed in brass and opens downwards for easy access. Delicate in scale, this lovely lantern would be charming in a small hallway, powder room or in a diminutive library. Perfect with a fat candle, it can also be electrified and fitted with an "antiqued" trifid cluster for a modest up-charge. Existing pebble glass has some age, but is likely not original. Warm, lightly worn, patina on brass. Beautiful antique condition, no breaks, repairs or missing parts.
This classic English copper street lantern features a tiered finial decoration at the top, simple repoussé "ears" on all four corners, and lovely small ball feet on the bottom corners. We have electrified it for the U.S. and added a custom-made antiqued brass cluster of 4 small "candlelight" sockets, each of which accepts up to a 75 watt bulb, as well as a matching brass hanging ring. The light copper patina produces a beautiful effect and the lantern is sold with 6 feet of wire, chain, and a matching canopy, all in a matte espresso brown/black finish. Of course, we can lengthen or shorten the chain and wire if you desire.
