Two Authentic French Vintage "Tabouret H" Stools by Tolix

Designed by Jean Pauchard, son of Xavier Pauchard who founded Tolix in 1925, these are fine examples of “Tabouret H” stools, dating to the 1950s. A true innovator in French industrial design, Xavier Pauchard, the son of a zinc roofer, began producing household items in pressed steel that integrated a major innovation in France: the use of hot dip galvanizing to protect pieces from oxidation. Tolix designs have become iconic worldwide and are widely loved and imitated for their sleek industrial design and practicality. These stools feature their original yellow and green paint and are in lovely vintage condition. Perfect in the garden or inside where a splash of color is desired, they also make wonderful small side tables. Add them to our other Tolix pieces for cocktails paired with our three authentic Tolix Model C Armchairs (Stock # FCH 1053 A-C) and yellow Tolix Table 55 (Stock # FTRE 1023) listed for sale.
