Pair French 19th C Cast Iron Lobed Urns Signed Alfred Corneau
Urns by the famed French Alfred Corneau foundry are iconic but are getting harder and harder to find. This is a fabulous pair of semi-lobed urns with crusty painted patina and in perfect condition. Dating to the 1880s and signed with plaques on the feet, they would make a stunning addition to your dining table and are hefty enough to handle large floral arrangements. Alternatively, place them on pedestals flanking a door or on a garden wall to mark the entrance. Sturdy in all weather, these can remain outside year-round, but we do recommend emptying them of dirt and covering the openings in cold climates.
