Pieces that add height to your terrace or garden are always in high demand and we found these lovely 19th C wrought iron plant stands near St. Émilion. Hand-wrought and in old slightly-chippy white over green paint with small areas of surface rusting, they are beautifully-constructed and properly balanced so that they will support large plants without tipping. Each stand has a long and newish bolt inside the top ring that we think allows you to anchor the bottom of the flowerpot to the stand. The overall scrolling form is airy without being too delicate. We love the worn paint as is, but it can always be refinished to a color you prefer. Wonderful inside or out, they will give you decades of pleasure and utility. No worries about leaving these outside year-round, but we would recommend covering them to preserve the paint. Weight is approximately 40 lbs. per stand.

Pair of Massive French Pine Laundry Bins on Wheels as Planters
We bought these wonderful pine laundry bins on wheels with the idea of turning them into massive planters. In great condition, and with their original hardware, they could easily be converted into planters with the addition of custom fiberglass liners or shower board sides and bottoms. The wheels make them easy to move and wouldn’t they be fabulous as tree planters? We would probably paint them white or dark green, but the natural look works as well. In very sturdy condition with no cracks, repairs or missing pieces, these would be gorgeous at a country home.
Wow! What a beauty and even the repaired tile on the left-hand side does not detract from its elegant presence. This real bamboo stick stand is beautifully crafted and has amazing little touches, such as the engraved brass buttons on the four top corners and the original galvanized drip tray. Perfect in a small space to hold umbrellas. Left hand tile has been repaired and a couple of tiny chips here and there. Otherwise, in beautiful antique condition. Possible to have the repaired area that shows white painted to blend in.
Just gorgeous! This stunning French wrought iron umbrella stand is perfect for a diminutive apartment entranceway and features its original zinc drip-tray and four upper dividers. Perfect condition and an alluring price combine to make this one a must-have! The iron frame is perfect and the drip tray condition is very good, but has a few minor nicks and dents commensurate with age.
This little beauty will give you years of pleasure, especially if you are short on space but long on entertaining in style. Fashioned from chrome and smoked glass, it features a built-in ice bucket, two bottle storage areas, sturdy wheels and loads of room for glasses and nibbles. In overall good vintage condition, it does have light scratches throughout and a few minor dents as well.
The color and graining on this period Louis Philippe buffet is spectacular and the added detail in the recessed doors and beaded drawers makes it very special. Loaded with storage space, it's the missing piece in your dining room scheme or in a bedroom as added storage. All original period heavy brass hardware. Slight warp to the top of one door that makes it sit a little proud to the other but does not affect functionality or beauty. Centuries of hand polishing have conveyed a beautiful and very hard surface that needs no maintenance other than dusting.
Very Tall Signed 19th C French Oak Ladder in Original Distressed Paint
This very tall ladder is all handmade from oak and features traces of its original buttery-cream paint. It would be perfect as a library ladder or as a towel rack and we can even trim it to your custom specifications if your ceilings do not accommodate its original height. Original maker's label adorns the bottom rung.
This graceful, tall, plaster pedestal has a clean pale cream-colored surface and fine detail on the column. Perfect for an extravagant floral arrangement or statue as the focal point in an entry hall or library. This piece must remain indoors, as plaster "melts" over time when exposed to the elements. In very good condition overall. Weathering commensurate with age.
This remarkable hand-turned, carved, and pegged oak candelabrum has been stripped of its old paint to reveal a wonderful patina reminiscent of limed oak. The 13 hand-whittled candle prickets are fully functional. This piece makes a bold architectural statement and mixes wonderfully with spare contemporary steel and glass furnishings, as well as with more traditional looks. A very old repair to the trifid base that came apart during shipping has now been re-pegged and securely glued for a barely visible repair.
